The Great Love was listening to a Ryan Adams new release early Saturday morn.
He was well into it and then I told him it was a cover album. Of Taylor Swift’s first-ever pop release, 1989.
I watched indecision and concern wash over him.
He was caught somewhere between enthusiasm for what is an excellent bluegrass-country take of Swift’s pop release. And Swift herself. Swift doesn’t feature in the GL’s music library. And her music certainly isn’t a sound he would ever endorse.
I had no such difficulty and quickly had the Adams album downloaded and on repeat for my morning run.
And the point herein is you should too. Have it downloaded and on repeat for your Saturday morning run. Except don’t wait that long. Do it today.
