A well-clothed apology

I’ve long heard carry-on about the importance of a little black dress in the wardrobe.

I’ve heard, but being more of a colourist in the fashion department, I’ve never really walked the black dress walk.

Until recently.

About a month ago I bought a black dress for a wedding. My brother’s wedding.

I was as surprised as a friend who implored would I really be happy wearing a black frock to a wedding, “will you really, Sheena” she carried on.

I was. I was again on the weekend.

I just wish I’d kept it on longer.

On this particular note, I’d like to make a public apology to the people in room 29 at Macedon Spa in the early hours of Sunday morning, with a particular shout-out to my GL who is a long-suffering, patient sort.

He’s very good to me. I just wish I was always very good to him.

Sorry there, Scoot.
